Welcome to the seventh month of LOVE makes US great! This blog follows a monthly formula.  Second week – bringing more love to family and friends.  Let’s start loving.

Yesterday I woke up with a bit of dread. One of the time blocks on my calendar said "Write the LoveMUG blog," and I had absolutely no idea what to write about this week. Usually, by the time I finish my morning routine, inspiration arrives – nothing. Perhaps an idea will surface while I'm out for a jog with the dog – nothing. Maybe an AI agent will help – nothing. 

Then I glanced down at the corner of my desk – Faith. A little journal with the word Faith embossed on the front. It is a gift from a dear friend, along with a note that I had been popping into her awareness more than usual, and words of encouragement to remind me to let my light shine brighter. 

Who writes notes like this and sends little gifts out of the blue? Friends! 

Who has incredibly serendipitous timing to brighten your day? Friends!

How many times have you seen something in a shop, a gallery, even the grocery store, and thought, "….. will love this!" You just had to get it and send it. The postage was probably more than the gift itself.

Those seemingly little things that brighten someone’s day are little, loving hugs. I’m looking around my office now and feeling so many hugs that I’ve received over the years.

What is a "small" gift that you received that was especially meaningful to you?

Love requires participation. Love requires sharing. Love requires action. Love requires commitment.
